How Is Your Pregnancy Due Date Calculated?
A pregnancy due date is usually estimated as 40 weeks (280 days) from the first day of the last menstrual period. If you know your conception date, the calculator estimates the due date by adding 266 days. IVF and ultrasound estimates use different information.
Example: If the first day of your last menstrual period was January 1, 2026, and you have a regular 28-day cycle, your estimated due date is October 8, 2026.
